Trash Rules and Pickup
- Trash Company requires the community use the 96 gallon Trash and Recycle Bins. Any trash or recycling must be in the bins for pickup. Any trash bags, other open bins of trash, recycling or uncovered recycle tubs will not be picked up.
- All trash must be contained within the receptacles with the top closing completely. Please make sure the recycle bin has a visible recyclable label.
- Please break down any cardboard and save for the next on recycle day. 96-Gallon recycle bins are available at from Waste Connections of Colorado
- Trash pickup is scheduled on Tuesdays and Recyling will be picked up every other Thursday starting October 3, 2024.
- There is a one-day delay in pickup after these Holidays- New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
- Trash containers should not be placed on the street earlier than 7 pm the evening before and must be picked up and replaced in your garage or behind your fence by the evening of the day of pick up.
- Many of our neighbors in the pods like to be helpful and after pickup they return their neighbors bins to the front of their homes. We encourage this practice!
- Call Waste Connections for any large item pickup. A fee may apply

LARGE ITEM(S) PICKUP AND DONATION RESOURCES
Community members have been placing large items out for pickup by Colorado Waste Connections on garbage and recycling days. However, Colorado Waste Connections has informed us that they will no longer pick up any large items without scheduling for a special pickup (fee applies). This includes, but is not limited to, couches, dressers, desks, BBQ equipment, chairs, tables, mattresses, bed frames, bookcases, small appliances, kitchenware, and yard waste, including twigs and tree branch bundles. These items must be placed in the trash can, or you will need to call to set up a special pickup. Alternatively, you can take twigs and branches to a county tree collection facility.
It is the responsibility of each community member to ensure our community area is kept clean and free of large items that may sit in the same spot for days on trash day. Please help us keep our community clean and presentable.
