Landscaping

VHRS is concentrating on owner requests for 2025 Landscaping Enhancements including removing dead trees, removing dead bushes and plants in front yards, replacing dead turf .  VHRS will be using ColoradoScape elements (e.g. native plants, trees, bushes, rock, mulch) for replacement of trees, bushes, plants and turf.  

 

Removal of the dead trees and bushes will be completed in August 2025.  The replacement of trees or bushes and grass will be completed in September 2025. 

 

ColoradoScape is defined as the process of landscaping, that reduces or eliminates the need for irrigation. This process has traditionally called Xeriscape. ColoradoScape is a natural landscape, comprised of low to very-low water use plant material, which blends in with the native Colorado landscape. Plant material must be maintained in its natural, native form. This landscaping utilizes a combination of hardscape and landscape materials, providing a variety of colors, textures, sizes, shapes, and seasonal interest.

 

VHRS was audited by Highlands Ranch Water District in June 2025.  A copy of the Irrigation Analysis is attached.  This is for review only.
